more about me

The desire to accompany people going through grief is a path that began around 2010. After suffering the loss of a loved one by suicide, I realize the lack of effective support to deal with such a profound and intense pain . Despite having a solid family and social network, I experience, for the first time, the desert a person can go through while suffering a significant loss. Hence the first seed: to accompany other people who are going through a difficult situation as a result of the death of a loved one.

Then I start a process of research, study and specialization. The music was the inner and outer resource that helped me to regulate myself, connect and channel the expression of pain during the first moments of my grief.

So I kept studying, researching and practicing with the specialization of Counseling in grief and loss by the Institute of Integrative Relational Psychotherapy led by Alba Payàs and accreditate by University of Barcelona. Here I had the chance to learnt the latest techniques of psychotherapy applied to mourning, through a training program aimed at advising and accompanying mourning processes, with the tutoring of the specialist Vera Santos.

The training process is constant and I am currently following the specialization training program of the Instituto Regenera with the expert Vera Santos to deepen the accompaniment to mourning from the perspective of the attachment theory and work with parts.

The specialization in the field of mourning, the experience of working in the service of people and the commitment to normalization and care for mourning, finally lead me to promote Espai pathos, a service that addresses grief and the loss by promoting activities, project design and counseling with individual or group sessions.

The raison d’être of Espai Pathos is to promote a healthy mourning experience, by enhancing all the resources of people and the environment, and thus contribute to fostering a transformative process both personally and socially.
